Wow so it's been... well too long to think about since the last time I posted.
The last time I made a post on this thing was in January of 2011 :-/
So the last time anyone read this blog I was all excited and then not so much excited about the prospect of moving to a house in Sullivan. Our house is still on the market, we still haven't moved, but the prospect has changed for a house to move into. (Drum Roll Please) We are (as soon as our house sells) moving to Brunswick... Yeah I know. I have my ups and downs about this decision but this is what Dave really wants. We would be buying his parents house from them now, that being said there are a lot of things that need to be done with this place. The exterior is fine there are a few trees in the back yard and potential for gardens (which I recently discovered I really enjoy) and we will (this is a battle I am willing to fight) we will be putting up a fence in the back yard so the neighbours dog doesn't come over and shit up our yard like he does now. The interior however... I'll be changing almost all of it. It's just not my style, I've been reading Better Homes and Gardens and visiting websites like houzz http://www.houzz.com/ it's all rooms and furniture and some of the spaces tell you where to get the stuff that is in said room. I'm thinking semi rustic country. The major upside to buying his parents house is that I know what everything looks like. I know what I can do where and we both have started walking around the house picturing certain things in one place or another. We have to both agree on something for instance if I wanted to paint the living room neon pink and he said no and I did it anyway... Not that I would do that I have serious colours in mind, blues, yellows, reds, browns, grays (I'm really all over the board right now) but nothing as extreme as neon pink (anywhere). Also there's a wood burner not a wood burning fireplace but it's a step up from not having one at all (we had a fireplace when I was a kid and it was the best thing EVER). So that's my life right now, there's more but I'm not going to bore you (is there even still a you that reads this blog?) with everything at once.
until next time
