and now for something much happier and kind of funny (but only if you're me)

It seems here at the Cleveland Clinic there is a game being played (or maybe those ornaments are supposed to be there.) I've only actually noticed them in the main lobby, but we have Christmas trees around the foundation and a few of them have "non-regulation" ornament on them (just one there doesn't seem to be more then one on any tree) can you spot what's not supposed to be there?

Yeah that random red thing............. Not supposed to be there. but I think that it's funny that people are trying to sneak ornaments on to the trees.

Hole in my heart

There is a Justin Shaped hole in my heart right now and I don't know what to say or what to do but I felt that I needed to say something cause maybe venting (more) would be helpful. As soon as I feel that I can I will make a full post about all of this.

Wild Guess as to my next project

I'll give you a hint

Yes ladies and gentlemen my first role that doesn't rely on singing and dancing. What the hell is Lester thinking? Maybe he has had a sudden vote of confidence in me or he was just desperate and needed someone on the fly. I'm going with a little bit of both. I'm excited this maybe a whole new chapter of insanity in my already insane life but I think it will be a lot of fun. The cast seems really talented and everyone seems to mesh well. It's all women (obviously) and on little girl and several of us are playing multiple miscellaneous roles. I'll be sure to keep you all updated.

Last weekend of Scrooge for anyone from Northeaster Ohio in the mood for some Christmas cheer. (it's gotten much better I promise)

Yes I said it Christmas!! Christmas, Christmas, Christmas!!! My blog my rules. if you celebrate Hanukkah then you can say Happy Hanukkah but I say Happy Christmas. SO THERE!

crap! Crap! Crap! BItch! BItch! BITCH!! WAHHHHHH!!!!

I just attended a meeting with the other administrative assistants on my floor and let me tell you I have never heard so much bitching!! The meeting was supposed to be about a "holiday party" for the floor that was supposed to be (by the way) a potluck and next week on Thursday. There has been no discussing about any of it until today, and there is no sign in sheet. Most of the meeting was spent complaining about ordering supplies and Oh yeah their newest great idea not ordering cups anymore and bringing in miscellaneous mugs from our houses (which I get everyone always has too many mugs) but giving guests mugs to use and then we need to wash them out when they leave! (I get the other responsibility part of the job but the people suggesting this would not be caught dead washing out someelse's mug) and who wants to use a "communal" mug anyway? GROSS!!! I think my head may explode after that crap.

but for now I need to mellow and get prepared for the show tonight and get some work done. what can I think of that will help calm me down?? Puppies!! Yeah puppies are good. by the way speaking of puppies did you know that web searches for puppies are dangerous? apparently you get many, many porn sites if you simply search puppies, oh and blue jays that's apparently porn for some people across seas. Who Knew?? Not me!

Preview Audience

So rehearsal went well last night. OK the first quarter of the first act went well, around 9:00 last night the transformer that provides the theatre with power blew. We weren't sure how to proceed. Everyone changed out of their costumes and went home. We haven't actually run the show from start to finish. Yes we have run the entire show but it was second act first and first act second. So the first time we run the show from start to finish will be for the preview audience. AGRH!!!! Oh an have I mentioned that we haven't figured out curtain call yet? Yes boys and girls that's right we have no plan for curtain call. So if you live in Northeast Ohio and need a good fun (possibly train wrecky) entertaining night come see Scrooge tonight at the Cassidy Theatre in Parma Hts. Tickets for preview are 10$.

Good Mosh Pitting!

December First

Yes boys and girls it's December First. Can you believe it, I can't. I'm amazed at how quickly the holidays have snuck up on us yet again. Of course it's busy and I have had no time for anything between work and Scrooge I don't think I've had much time to see my husband, clean my house (the place is a sty) I will be so glad when tech week is over so I can get back to normalcy. Actually spending time with the husband, not going straight from work to the theatre and not getting home till 11:00. Don't get me wrong I love theatre it's fun and I'm having a great time but, I miss having just plain old hang out time with Dave. So now that I am done bitching, how is everyone? How was every one's turkey (or tofurkey in some peoples cases) day? mine was filled with pumpkintini's and lots of food and laughing and fun, and stories of my grandfather chasing his grand-daughter and her friend around on the ATV while her brother and his friend rode in the wagon and lobbed snowballs at them. All I could hear is Flight of the Valkyrie's over and over in my head every time I picture that in my head, My grandfathers neon orange stocking cap flapping in the wind as he's standing on the ATV and he's probably only going 3 miles an hour but he had a grin from ear to ear. Yes ladies and gentlemen my grandfather is the youngest 81 year old I know as he's definitely still a kid at heart.
